Tejas Patel

Tejas is a Partner with a specialization in corporate and  M&A practice. He has an experience of over 15 years in advising clients on domestic and cross-border merger and acquisitions, joint ventures, asset and business acquisition and private equity transactions. He has extensive experience in structuring of complex commercial transactions, leading legal due diligence, drafting transaction documentation, and facilitating commercial negotiations.

Tejas has been a vital support to some renowned multinationals and domestic corporates in setting up and expanding of businesses in India. He has been a constant support to several foreign clients for handling all legal and compliance related matters on day-to-day basis.

He regularly advises on legal structuring and establishment of legal entities in India and general corporate matters including company law, foreign investment laws (both inbound and outbound), employment laws and various industry specific regulations.

He is a registered insolvency professional and has spearheaded clients on restructuring and insolvency related issues.

He has also advised some large international clients on capital market related matters specifically, debt-capital market transactions, including the establishment of Rule 144A and Regulation S Global Medium Term Note Programme and Trust Certificate Issuance Programme and their listing on London Stock Exchange, United Kingdom.
